Iriga City hosted the 3rd Quarter Meeting of the Camarines Sur PESO Managers Federation today, September 10 at Masuso Spring Resort. PESO Managers and Job Placement Officers from different towns and cities in the province attended the activity.
DOLE Regional Director Imelda F. Gatinao and Provincial Head Ma. Ella E. Verano joined the meeting together with Mayor Rex C. Oliva who was represented by his Executive Secretary Ailyn Alferez.
Discussions covered Trabaho para sa Bayan directives from DOLE, the Workforce Development Plan, updates on the National PESO Congress, the election of new PESO Camarines Sur officers for 2025–2028, and the accomplishments of DOLE-PESO as of August 2025.
Guests also praised the warm and exceptional hospitality of LGU-Iriga through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) headed by Engr. Cynthia D. Audal, PESO Manager, saying the accommodation exceeded their expectations and set a high bar for the next hosts. The meeting further showed PESO’s commitment to linking job seekers with opportunities, supporting livelihood programs, and matching workers’ skills with employer needs.
During the event, Councilor Jor-el Caayao, together with the LGU-IRIGA department heads and heads of Offices, were present to show their support.
Director Gatinao encouraged PESO Managers to continue working together so more people across the region can benefit from employment services.
