Albay Governor Edcel Grex Burce Lagman secured 7th place in the Boses ng Bayan Top-Performing Governors list, according to an assessment by the RP-Mission Legazpi and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
Lagman achieved an average score of 83.5%, placing him 7th in the in the rankings based on an evaluation of provincial governors’ job performance across various areas of governance.
The assessment measured performance in six key areas: leadership and governance, economic rankings based on an evaluation of provincial governors’ job performance across various areas of governance development and infrastructure, social welfare and public services, public safety and security, environmental management and sustainability, and public satisfaction and engagement.
The governor expressed his gratitude via a Facebook post, dedicating the recognition to his constituents.
“An onra na ini para saindo gabos mga payaba, padangat asin payaba ko na mga Albayano,” the governor said in his post.
“Boses ng Bayan,” an initiative of RPMD Foundation Inc., is based on a nationwide survey involving 10,000 respondents who participated in face-to-face interviews.
