The National Irrigation Administration (NIA), through its Institutional Development Division (IDD), headed by Mr. Martin Tacloban, Division Manager, led the Orientation and Hands-on Tutorial on the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) Profiling Application for Agripuhunan Onboarding Batch 3.
The activity brought together participants from NIA Regions IV-A, VI, VII, VIII, and XI, with speakers from the Department of Agriculture (DA) discussing topics such as the Rationale and Briefer of the RSBSApp-LGU, Data Privacy Reminders, System Overview, and the Training Proper.
Present during the opening program were Mr. Martin Tacloban, IDD Manager, together with key personnel of IDD Central Office, Engr. Gaudencio John M. De Vera (Regional Manager, NIA Region V) and Ms. Marilou O. Oatemar (IDS Chief, NIA Region V).
In his message, Mr. Tacloban highlighted the importance of enrolling farmers in the RSBSA, saying, “By keeping farmer profiles updated and accurate, we can ensure that agricultural programs and interventions truly reach those who need them the most. This is one way we can uplift farmers and support the growth of the agriculture sector.”
The activity reflects NIA’s continued collaboration with the DA in promoting digital innovation and improving the delivery of government support to farmers.
