The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bicol conducted a specialized training session on Republic Act 11032 also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Delivery Service Act of 2018 on June 21, 2024, at the DENR Regional Office V in Rawis, Legazpi City.
Atty. Wilfredo F. Bermas, Jr. of the Legal Division led the training as the Learning Service Provider. The training which aims to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for enhancing service delivery in the DENR was attended by personnel from various offices across the region.
In his closing remarks, Assistant Regional Director, Ronnel B. Astor congratulated the participants and said, “As long as we adhere to our protocols and existing guidelines, I doubt that we’ll face any penalties,” he said.
The DENR Bicol headed by Regional Executive Director Francisco E. Milla, Jr. remains committed to promoting integrity, accountability, and efficient management of public affairs and resources. These efforts aim to establish effective practices that improve the delivery of government services and prevent graft and corruption within the Department.
