DSWD Bicol’s Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Malinao, has organized a series of capacity-building training sessions for 221 program participants from the municipality.

Field PDOs, along with key stakeholders such as Landbank and YMCA-Albay, provided technical expertise on micro-enterprise development, basic business management, and financial literacy. The sessions included a business appreciation segment and an orientation on opening Landbank savings accounts.

SLP is instrumental in transforming the lives of its participants by fostering economic independence, enhancing skills, and promoting sustainable development. This comprehensive approach addresses immediate economic needs while laying the groundwork for long-term resilience.
