In a significant effort to ensure educational access for every Pantawid household, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in collaboration with the Provincial Operations Office of Camarines Norte and DepEd Camarines Norte’s Alternative Learning System, has launched the inaugural 4Ps Provincial Forum for Lifelong Learning.
The forum brought together representatives from the twelve municipalities of the province, who engaged actively in consultations and discussions. A notable outcome of these engagements is the highlighted role of the Alternative Learning System as an inclusive education platform, which supports 4Ps beneficiaries—including adults—in accessing educational opportunities. This initiative aims to provide more equitable access to education.
This event signifies the beginning of a deeper collaboration between the DSWD and DepEd, underscoring both agencies’ commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind.
