The Department of Health Bicol Center for Health Development (DOH Bicol CHD) with the DOH Central Office launched the Electronic Logistics Management Information System (eLMIS) in Catanduanes on June 13, 2024.

Catanduanes is the first province in the Bicol Region to implement eLMIS in all Rural Health Units (RHUs) and government hospitals.

DOH Undersecretary Ma. Carolina Vidal-Taiño along with OIC-Regional Director Dr. Rodolfo Antonio Albornoz led the said launching. Catanduanes Governor Joseph Cua, Vice-Governor Peter Cua, and Provincial Health Officer II Dr. Hazel Palmes were also in attendance.

Participants signed a pledge of commitment and the eLMIS Go Live Certificate for the full implementation of the eLMIS in the said province.

eLMIS is an integrated software system which enables users to electronically manage supply chain tasks such as distribution, stock allocation, inventory control, and warehouse administration of health care logistics.
