Intended to bring the Bicol Regional Development Plan 2023-2028 closer to the Bicolanos, the Provincial Roadshow kicked-off in the province of Albay last March 22, 2024 at the Albay Astrodome, Legazpi City conducted by the Regional Plan Advocacy Committee (RPAC) and NEDA Region 5.
DILG Region 5 Regional Director Atty. Arnaldo E. Escober Jr, CESO V as the Vice-Chairperson of RPAC was represented by LGOO V Grace S. Mago who presented the Rationale of the activity. DILG Albay Program Manager LGOO VI Coniefer B. Codia also participated during the Open Forum engaging in a dialogue with the audience together with the regional line agencies. DMO IV Gwyneth Andrae J. Jacob served as the host and moderator of the roadshow.
Bannering the key message #SararoSarabayPasiringSaMarhayNaBuhay the roadshow was participated by regional line agencies (RLAs), representatives from local government units (LGUs), academe and higher education institutions (HEIs), civil society organizations (CSOs), private sectors organizations (PSOs), media, communities, and the general public.
The Bicol RDP 2023-2028 is the second medium-term plan anchored on the long-term vision of the AmBisyon Natin 2040 of a Matatag, Maaasahan, at Panatag na buhay para sa lahat.
