Iriga City achieved a Highly-Functional or an assessment score of 108.00% in the recent functionality assessment of Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC conducted of the Department of Interior and Local Government Region V.
According to DILG, this achievement is a testament of the LGUs exceptional commitment and support in protecting and safeguarding the lives of women and their children. These efforts are truly an embodiment of quality public service worthy of emulation.
Mayor Rex Oliva, Ms. Maridel Verrosa, City Social Welfare and Development Coordinator and DILG LGOO VI Sheela Medina received the award during the Aldaw nin Honra: 2024 Local Government Month Regional Ceremony today, October 18, in Legazpi City Albay.
