The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur was recognized by the DENR Environmental Management Bureau Region 5 for its unwavering support for the agency’s environmental programs and projects, leading to their successful implementation. This recognition was given during the awarding ceremony culminating the Philippine Environment Month 2024 held in Rawis, Legazpi City, Albay on June 27, 2024.
Camarines Sur was among 11 awardees, including 8 private companies and 2 LGUs, honored for their dedication to environmental initiatives. Regional Director Maria Socorro Abu, PhD presented the awards.
