Today’s flag-raising ceremony at the Iriga City Sports Center was hosted by the General Service Office under the leadership of Acting GSO Lourdes Badiola. The ceremony began with the solemn hoisting of the flag, setting a patriotic tone for the day. Following this, a series of awards were presented to the victors of Palarong Bicol, the Regional Schools Press Conference, and the Festival of Talents. These awards were distributed by key city officials, including Mayor Rex Oliva, Vice Mayor Edsel Dimaiwat, and members of the 20th Sangguniang Panglungsod, such as Hon. Dandreb Abonite, Hon. Melnan Murallo-Asanza, and Hon. Jessie Abonite. Executive Secretary Jor-el Caayao managed the proceedings with great efficiency.
