Our journey to the grand stage of Sorsogon was a labor of love and hard work of our performers, musicians and props men, and support from the entire city, headed by Mayor Rex C. Oliva, and uplifted by the selfless dedication of the Office of the City Tourism headed by Engr. Nona Vanessa M. Santiago and participation of City officials, Vice Mayor Edsel Dimaiwat, SP Members Konsi Dandreb Abonite, Nikki Lagrimas, Jeff Tino, Melnan Murallo, Wifranco Guevarra and Mitch Samarita, heads of offices, employees and DepEd officials and teachers. Our gratitude flows to every member of the City Government who made this a success from inception to the grand stage.
Though victory in the competition slipped through our fingers, our delegates’ performance and the grandeur of our culture have already secured our place as champions. Our mission is to illuminate the world with the resplendence story of our culture, heritage, arts and tourism through Tinagba Festival.
