Local leaders are optimistic that the Maharlika Highway will be improved under President Bongbong Marcos’ administration, following the inspection of the road network’s Quezon and Bicol segments conducted by Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon last weekend.
During his visit to the boundary between Tagcawayan, Quezon, and Del Gallego, Camarines Sur, Dizon stated that the President has directed the Department of Public Works and Highways to develop long-term solutions for road damage, uneven pavements, and difficult driving conditions on Maharlika that have persisted for many years.
