Iriga: Bicol cops seize P156K worth of “shabu” in CamSur search warrant operation

    On the ongoing efforts to eradicate illegal drugs in Bicol region, Police Regional Office 5 headed by PBGEN WESTRIMUNDO D OBINQUE, RD continue to carry out operation to arrest individuals involved in the proliferation of any forms of illegal drugs.

    In the two separate operations conducted in Camarines Sur, P156,400.00 worth of “shabu” were seized through search warrant.

    On July 27, 2023, a high-value-individual named Anthony Sarcia y Roldan a.k.a “Bong” was nabbed by Libmanan MPS, PDEA Cam Sur Office and PDEA Naga City Office in coordination with PDEA ROV.

    Confiscated in the rented vegetable store of the suspect located at Market Site, Zone 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Libmanan, Camarines Sur was 10 grams of “shabu” with an estimated DDB value of PhP68,000.00.

    This was followed by another service of search warrant against a street-level-individual named Reynaldo Bulaong a.k.a. “Choy” at about 12:15AM of July 28, 2023. Found and collected during search in the residence of the subject person was 13 grams of “shabu” value of PhP88,400.00. Bulaong remains at large.

    PRO5 maintains its unwavering commitment and dedication to establishing a drug-free society. Collaborating with various partner agencies, it shall diligently implement the Buhay ay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan, or BIDA Program, advocating for comprehensive and balanced health and rights-based strategies to address drug-related issues.
