The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) provided livelihood assistance and basic goods to 250 fisherfolk and their families residing in the coastal barangays of the third district.

The distribution was personally led by Albay Governor Edcel Grex Lagman, with support from the Albay Provincial Agriculture Office (APAO).

This initiative is part of the ongoing Outreach Program in celebration of the governor’s 52nd birthday.

Food packages, five kilograms of well-milled rice, and consecrated life vests donated by the PGA and the Local Government of Tiwi were received by 250 fisherfolk and their families from the coastal barangays of Oas, including Cagmanaba, Nagas, Tapel, Maramba, and Badian.

It can be recalled that Lagman began extending assistance to different sectors prior to his birthday on July 24.

Lagman is set to visit and extend help to patients at Dr. Lorenzo P. Ziga Memorial District Hospital (DLPZMDH) and Josefina Belmonte Duran Albay Provincial Hospital (JBDAPH) on July 29, which is still part of his birthday celebration.
