The Provincial Government of Albay distributed food packs to more than 7,000 employees as a year-end gesture of appreciation for their service.
The food packages include 10 kilograms of rice, and basic goods.
The distribution covered permanent, casual, job order, and contract of service personnel from various provincial government offices.
The initiative aims to help employees and their families manage household needs during the holiday season.
Governor Noel Ebriega Rosal said the annual distribution reflects the provincial government’s commitment to employee welfare and recognition of government workers’ role in public service delivery.
Employees welcomed the assistance, noting that the grocery packs help ease expenses during the holidays.
The Provincial Government of Albay reiterated its commitment to programs that support employee well-being to ensure efficient and responsive public service.
Provincial Administrator Engineer Raul E. Rosal supervised the distribution activity.
