Iriga: Albay brings Government Services Closer through Handog ng Pangulo

    The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA), together with more than 30 national government agencies and provincial departments, is bringing various government assistance and services closer to residents through the nationwide simultaneous distribution of services under the Handog ng Pangulo today at the Albay Farmers Bounty Village in Cabangan, Camalig.

    The event highlights government convergence in delivering essential services directly to communities.

    Under the leadership of Governor Noel Rosal, the PGA is providing various services through its different departments.

    The Albay Provincial Agricultural Office is offering the Kadiwa ng Pangulo, while the Provincial Health Office is providing medical and dental services, eye consultation, free medicines and soap, ECG, health education and promotion, and vaccination.

    The Albay Veterinary Office is conducting free vaccination and deworming for pets, as well as spay and neuter procedures.

    The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office is providing Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) payouts for farmers, fisherfolk, and drivers, along with medical and burial assistance.

    The Public Employment Service Office Albay is also conducting a mini job fair.

    Among the national government agencies participating in the activity are the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), which are offering various forms of assistance and services.

    The Albay Police Provincial Office is also facilitating police clearance applications and processing.

    DPWH Undersecretary Atty. Ricardo P. Bernabe III is attending the event to represent President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
