The Australian Embassy is exploring a partnership with the Provincial Government of Albay to strengthen agricultural development and climate resilience in the province.
Seven representatives from the embassy met with Governor Noel E. Rosal and key officials during a courtesy visit to discuss potential collaboration areas.
Both sides underscored the importance of innovation, technology, and farmer training in building a sustainable and competitive agriculture sector.
Provincial Agriculturist Cheryl O. Rebeta presented the provincial government’s programs and goals for modernizing local farming practices.
Further consultations are set to identify specific initiatives that will help boost productivity and improve the livelihood of Albay’s farmers.
