A total of 4,200 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) came together for the first-ever Pantawid Pamilya Day 2025, held at the Iriga City Sports Center on September 10, 2025. With the theme โ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฃ๐ข๐บ ๐๐ข๐จ-๐๐ด๐ข, ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ช๐ญ๐บ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ต๐ข๐ธ๐ช๐ฅ,โ the event marked a milestone gathering for 4Ps families from 36 barangays.
The celebration featured a Serbisyo Caravan, which brought essential government services closer to the people. Among the agencies and offices that extended support were the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), City Health Office (CHO), Department of Agriculture (DA), Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS), Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Local Civil Registrarโs Office (LCR), Department of Education Iriga (DepEd Iriga), Philippine National Police (PNP Iriga), and the Iriga City Local Youth Development Office. The caravan aimed to address the various needs of the beneficiaries in one accessible venue.
The event was spearheaded by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) under the leadership of Ms. Maridel Verrosa, RSW. Mayor Rex Oliva and Vice Mayor Edsel Dimaiwat extended their unwavering support, making the historic celebration possible. Councilor Jor-el Caayao, along with representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ROV, Ms. Arlene Fabellare, Provincial Link, Ms. Aimee Rose Lozano, SWO III, Ms. Gemma Colocar, PGO, Ms. Laarni Rellama, CGO, and Mr. Romy Cao, CBDO, also graced the eventโhighlighting the city governmentโs commitment to uplifting families under the 4Ps program.
