Iriga: 16 native cattles to qualifies coconut farmer-beneficiaries of Del Rosario Banao

The Local Government of Iriga, led by Mayor Rex Oliva, facilitated the distribution of 16 native cattle to the Del Rosario Small Coconut Farmers Organization on March 12, 2025. The event took place at the Social Hall in Del Rosario, Banao, Iriga City, through the City Veterinary Office under Dr. Mark Kevin Badiola.

The initiative aims to support local farmers by enhancing their livestock resources, contributing to agricultural sustainability and economic growth.

Also present at the distribution were Vice Mayor Edsel Dimaiwat, Councilor Dandreb Abonite, Chairman, Commitee on Agriculture, Councilor Jessie Abonite, Councilor Melnan Murallo-Asanza, Councilor Nikki Lagrimas, Councilor Jeff Tino, Councilor Jm Grimaldo, Hon. Jor-el Caayao, Bishop Ross Orolfo, Atty. Marlon M. Terrado, Regional Manager of the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) who was represented by Mr.Juan Luna, Acting Division Chief 1 and Jocelyn V. Borejon, Science Research Specialist II from the Bureau of Animal Industry.
