An explosion occurred at Sitio Baluno, Brgy. Bunguiao, Zamboanga City yesterday, July 30, 2020 at around 2 in the afternoon.
Upon receipt of the report, members of Zamboanga City Police Station Police Station 3 proceeded at the area to verify the veracity of the report.
Upon arrival at the area, the Zamboanga City Police Station 3 noticed One (1) lifeless victim identified as Radzkil Assari Y Tutoh, legal age and two (2) companions with visible injuries identified as Mohammad Jainal Ammad Y Asid, legal age and Ersad Asari, legal age, both residents of abovementioned place. They were immediately brought to Zamboanga City Medical Center for medical treatment.
Initial investigation disclosed that at about 2:00 AM of July 30, 2020, while the victims were asleep at their residence,an unidentified person allegedly hurled a grenade at the the house that caused the death of one individual and injuries of two others.
Motive of the incident has been said to be personal grudge, while the Zamboanga City Police Station 3 is still conducting further investigation regarding the incident.
