Effective 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of May 13, 2021 portions of Purok 3, Brgy. Consuelo have been placed under granular lockdown for a period of five (5) days pursuant to Executive Order No. 033, Series of 2021 issued by Mayor Cecilia L. Rusillon upon recommendation of the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force during its Emergency Meeting conducted morning of the same date.

Presently, Brgy. Consuelo has 4 RT-PCR confirmed positive cases and several Antigen positive cases involving RHU medical workers who are residing in the same purok. Areas under granular lockdown shall strictly adhere the quarantine protocols such as but not limited to “Strict Stay at Home Order and Restrictions to Travel”.
With this recent COVID-19 cases spike in the barangay, the authorities shall likewise be implementing STRICT MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS in some other parts of the barangay within the same period. Prohibition of Non-essential gatherings shall strictly be observed and the wearing of facemask and face shield, and social distancing as mandated under the law and ordinance shall strictly be implemented.
The Granular Lockdown may be extended and the coverage may widen depending on the situation hence, the public is advised to be cautious and heedful to the Order. (RPN DXKS Surigao) Â
