It was a get-together for pets and their humans last October 6 at the Tetuan Central School covered court, as the Office of the City Veterinarian and partner agencies held the Furmosa Festival: Pet Blessing and Parade, as part of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2024 activities.
Mayor John Dalipe, City Agriculturist Arben Magdugo and SK National Federation President Carol Julianne Dalipe, brought along their furry friends and joined in the fun.
Fur parents came with their pets dressed in the cutest and most creative costumes for the chance to win prizes in the different categories set.
A pet blessing ceremony kicked off the Furmosa Festival, that gave every pet owner the opportunity to receive a blessing for their pet, and reflect on the life their pet has lived, as well as the blessing their pet has brought to the family.
The OCVET recognized barangays that perform well in the campaign to protect animal welfare and in the anti-rabies drive.
