PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 conducted dragnet operation at Luyahan, Brgy. Pasonanca, Zamboanga City particularly at Villa Hermosa Housing Project at 12:00 Midnight of December 11, 2020 in connection with the shooting incident transpired at the abovementioned place and was able to intercept the single motorcycle Honda XRM125 (Black) driven by Kristoffer Ray Lledo Guarino, 41 years old, male and a resident of Luyahan, Brgy. Pasonanca, Zamboanga City, who was wearing a black jacket that fits the description of the alleged suspect of the aforementioned shooting incident.
Upon further checking, personnel of said police station were able to recover one (1) unit of Cal 45 pistol with serial number no. 288143 inserted with magazine loaded with five (5) live ammunitions on his possession and he was immediately conducted to the said police station for investigation.
Moreover, the Zamboanga City Police Station 5 personnel together with the victim of the shooting incident identified as Dr. Chao-Tiao New Yumol arrived at the place and attested that said subject person was not the one who shot him.
The arrested suspect is now under the temporary custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 7 for proper disposition. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
