The Department of Health (DOH) logged on Wednesday a total of 2,646 additional Covid-19 cases with 4,029 recoveries and 99 deaths.
The total number of infections in the country stood at 2,809,311.
Of the total number of infections, 1.0 percent (29,138) are active, 97.4 percent (2,735,508) have recovered, and 1.59 percent (44,665) have died.
Twenty-nine duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 20 are recoveries and one death.
Moreover, 84 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
All laboratories were operational on November 8, 2021 but seven labs were not able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
Based on data for the last 14 days, the seven non-reporting labs contribute, on average 15.2 percent of samples tested and 5.1 percent of positive individuals.
