The Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Norte Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos through Big Heart Organization led by Mr. Rommel “Big Heart” Jalosjos and Zamboanga del Norte Medical Center (ZNMC) Dr. George Walthrode L. Opay – Acting Chief of Hospital represented by Dr. Genesis O. Realiza took the lead to personally distributing assistive devices to ZNMC patients on August 28, 2024.
A total of beneficiaries comprising ten (10) males and seven (7) females received assistive devices to address their needs for them to carry out their everyday activities, actively participate on their communities, and fulfil their potentials.
ZNMC Acting Supervising Administrative Office Dr. Oswado J. Lamdag represented by Ms. Bulak Lunjas welcomed the families of the recipients who received the Assistive Devices and for the (7) Crutches they were Dioscoro Kabrisante, Mario Gumawat, Elsan Suminguit, Mary Claire Engco, Jonald Gumanas, Elvira Maglangit and Arnulfo Ula.
Patients who received the (10) Walkers were: Noel Guantero, Emelia Omerez, Victoria Engcol, Ernie Silva, Abundia Bangon, Juan Sumambon, Fernando Solarte, Leonida Magtangob. Mr. Rommel “Big Heart” Jalosjos emphasized that the program is for everybody to avail with no political affiliations and implications.
The aim is to help improve the patient’s independence and enhances their well-being. This welfare activity supports one of the main thrust of the good governor, Governor” Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos’ “Misyon ko, Tinuod nga Serbisyo”. (Angelica T. Obina)
