Camp Col Romeo A. Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City – PNP Chief PGEN ROMMEL FRANCISCO D. MARBIL has taken swift action in extending assistance to the injured victims of the Cabatangan, Explosion Incident that transpired on July 8, 2024, at Barangay Cabatangan, Zamboanga City wherein a total of 20 uniformed personnel and 7 civilians were injured.
Chief PNP Marbil’s first order was to direct the Director of PNP EOD/K9 Group, PBGEN Robert G. Magno, to go down and oversee the conduct of the investigation into the incedent.
Acknowledging the urgent needs of the injured personnel, Chief PNP Marbil’ has also arranged for financial support to the victims through the Police Regional Office 9. This assistance aims to ensure that the essential needs of the victims are meet promptly and effectively during this challenging time.
PBGEN BOWENN JOEY M. MASAUDING, RD, PRO 9 extends sincere gratitude to Chief PNP for his swift response for the injured victims of the recent explosion in Zamboanga City. “We deeply appreciate Chief PNP’s timely support, which has been invaluable in maintaining good morale and well-being of the injured individuals. The timely support made sure that our injured personnel ang their family thought of nothing else but speedy recovery”. RD said.
