Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Norte Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and Provincial Health Office led on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 free medical services, bloodletting and food packs during the 14th Founding Anniversary of Barangay Guban, Municipality of Sirawai, ZDN.
Provincial Administrator Mr. Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” Magallanes, Atty Ivan Ang Spokesman of the Governor, Board member Franco Angelo “Conkee” Buctuan 3rd District, Former Congressman Cesar G. Jalosjos, Mr Jervis P. Jalosjos PSWDO Ayuda Program Focal Person, PHO Mr. Rommel C. Jamolod Nurse III, Provincial Engineering OIC Rey Eguia along with the Barangay Guban Chairman Ramil Hagonoy, met with at least 2 thousand families to the locals and helped distribute food packages of 3 kilos of rice, biscuits and an empty plastic gallon.
In the same day, a medical mission dental services, bloodletting, circumcision, family planning consultancy, health check-ups and free medicines were availed by around 400 locals. Aside from PG ZDN, the 6th Marine Battalion Landing Team of the Philippine Marines give free haircuts to 62 residents composing young people and adult men. The aforementioned events were part of a 4-day remarkable activities in celebration with the Barangay Guban Founding Anniversary.
The Medical Mission as explained by Mr. Magallanes aims to provide medical care to residents living in the barangay as it iss one of the priority programs of the good governor in alignment to its maxim “Misyon ko, Tinuod nga Serbisyo”, further, known for her campaigns and programs to promote the health, well-being, agriculture, education, environment, peace and other social services.
