The Provincial Government of Zamboanga del Norte spearheads groundbreaking ceremony project entailing Php.1,583,391.00 appropriation for the construction of perimeter fence of Rizal National High School, Municipality of Rizal Zamboanga del Norte, today August 16, 2024.
Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos through the Provincial Administrator Mr. Wilberth G. Magallanes led the ceremony alongside former 1st Congressional District Representative Romeo “Jon-Jon” Jalosjos, Mrs. Leonora L. Venezuela, RNHS School Principal, Barangay Chairperson, Hon. Menilou S. Arancon, Engr. Jennifer C. Viernes, PEO Area Engineer- Distict I – B, OIC-PEO, Engr. Rey C. Eguia, Engr. Arman C. Alpeche – Head of PEO – Construction Division.
Former Congressman “Jon-Jon” Jalosjos, in his speech underscores the importance of security of the school through the construction of the permiter fence, making the environment a conducive learning space where parents and guardians will bw free feom worrying. He further emphasizes the importance of focusing on their (students) studies as the provincial government put more premium in strengthening the education sector. The projects of PG-ZDN aims to usher accessible services for a better education in the community.
Mrs. Leonora L. Venezuela , Rizal National High School Principal expresses her heartfelt gratitude for the project of the provincial government as it helps teachers and learners to enjoy safe soace for learning through a better security net such as the perimeter fence.
Provincial Administrator, Mr. Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” G. Magallanes also stresses the intention of the project in support to Governor Jalosjos’ priority program in the education sector. He also bared that the project budget is derived from the Special Education Fund (SEF) as he also reiterated the One Television Unit per Classroom (OTUC) that the Provincial Government collaborated with the DepEd of 365 units 55′ smart television and soon the Starlink internet for an improve learninf instruction materials, a way to modernize education in the province.
Further, Mr. Magallanes signified the commitment of the Provincial Government the importance of perimeter fencing to keep the school safe and securing the students and teachers throughout ZDN. (Ginalin G. Ma – PIC)
