Dipolog: Gov. Nene leads PDC ExeCom Meeting, further sustaining ZaNorte’s win in various PG ZDN Programs

The Provincial Development Council – Executive Meeting convenes at the Governor’s Office on September 18, 2024 to further development approach in sustaining. the gains of the province.

Spearheaded by Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos, Chairperson of the Execom joined by the Provincial Administrator Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” G. Magallanes Assistant Chairperson ofnthe PDC Execom, the committee discusses various developmental agenda to include the approved proposal of General Fund, Supplemental Budget, Proposed Re-programming of Twenty Percent (20%) Development Fund under Social Development Program and inward inclusion in the approved 2024 PDP – Aligned Climate Change Expenditure – Tagged Annual Investment Plan (CCET – AIP) of the province.

The meeting also includes the discussion of Housing and Development to the procurement of materials for the barangays and municipalities Waterworks system projects within the province.

The PDC Execom Meeting is seen as an avenue for the Provincial Government to look over the continuity and sustainability of the programs of thr current administration that will spur economic relief and development among the barangays and municipalities. The 2024 CMCI (Cities/Municipalities Competitiveness Index) last August is an indication of a thriving economy and bettee policies being put into place by the “Misyon Ko Tinuod nga Serbisyo”, a service pledge and maxim of Governor Jalosjos.

Also joining the PDC Execom meeting were Provincial Budget Officer, Ma. Glendora T. Deloria, Provincial Accountant, Ms Marivic SU. Carpitanos, Provincial Treasurer Mr. Jessie A. Concepcion, OIC- Provincial Engineering Office, Engr Rey C. Eguia, PDC Execom Secretariat name – Ms.Augee C. Velasco, OIC – Provincial Planning and Development Office and members of the Executive Committee convened for the support and approval of the Provisional Agenda. (Angelica T. Obina)
