The Provincial Government through the Office of Provincial Agriculture (OPAg) and Provincial Health Office (PHO) visits the Municipality of Godod for the Agri-AYuda and Medical Outreach Program led by Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos.
The program is held in time of the founding anniversary week of the barangay poblacion of the held at Poblacion Covered Court, Poblacion, Godod, Zamboanga del Norte on October 22, 2024 where townspeople and citizen from various sitios and communities attended.
Provincial Agriculture Officer. Ms Maybel C. Bustaliño led the delivery of 600 seedlings of corn, organic fertilizer, fruit-bearing trees such as lanzones, jackfruit and rambutan to farmers in in collaboration with the Municipal Agriculture Office. Whilst, the Provincial Health Office led by Dr. Eduaro M. Luayon, the Provincial Health Officer also conduct consultation and giving of medicines and supplements to the attending citizens of Godod.
Mayor Abel M. Matildo, the municipal mayor expresses his gratitude of the production services through the OPAg and PHO of the provincial government. He further stresses that the activity sustains the commitment of the government to support food production, improve yield of agricultural products, promote local fruit-bearing trees and improve the health and well-being of the locals.
The activity is in consonance to the series of outreach programs scheduled for the year under the banner program of “Misyon Ko tinuod nga serbisyo” of the Governor. Supporting the activity and representing the Governor are former Provincial Administrator, Mr. Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” G. Magallanes, Former Congressional District Representative of the 3rd District Cong. Cesar Jalosjos, Board Member Franco Angelo “Conkee” Buctuan, Atty. Ivan Patrick A. Ang, Spokesperson of the Governor and other officials and personnel of the Ayuda ni Nanay Nene Program.
Also in attendance was Regional Director of Department of Tourism Region 9, Dara May L. Cataluña who expresses support to local leaders and the Ayuda ni Nanay Nene Program. (Angelica T. Obina)
