The working administration of Zamboanga del Norte led by Provincial Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” G. Jalosjos mobilized its Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) through the Municipality of Siocon MSWDO OIC – Ms Haydee Obra to provide aid for flood victims of Siocon last July 20, 2024.
1523 Relief packs of rice and goods were distributed and administered by the Provincial Administrator Mr Wilberth ” Gaw Jojo G. Magallanes, Board Member Conkee Buctuan, Mayor Caesar Soriano and Barangay Captains to the families from hard – hit barangays of Sta.Maria; 650 packs of rice and goods, Malambuhangin 303 packs of rice and goods, Datu Sailila 205 packs of rice and goods and Pangian 365 packs of rice with goods in Siocon.
The people of Siocon expressed gratitude for the assistance received without questions of any political color. Thus, the Misyon ko Tinuod nga Serbisyo of Governor Nanay Nene G. Jalosjos still continues to share and provides aid to the other flood victims in the barangays of Siocon. (Angelica T. Obina)
