Davao: City government passes 1st ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit

The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification of the City Government of Davao was recommended for retention following the 1st Surveillance Audit conducted on the 4th week of July.SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc. audited the people, paper, and practice (3Ps) of the city government in connection with the implementation of QMS and its processes and monitored its

compliance.At the end of the Surveillance Audit, the certifying body recognized the city government’s acceptable

implementation of the certification requirements as outlined within the framework of the International Standard Organization and its commitment to providing clients with quality products and

services within the organization’s policy and objectives.“This is a testament to the continuing efforts of the city to deliver citizen-focused services.

We will take into consideration the findings, whether positive or negative, of our external

auditor for the continual improvement of our system,” Atty. Sarah Phoebe L. Paclibar, the QMS leader said.The city government received its ISO 9001:2015 Certification in September 2022 with a validity of three (3) years.The city government will carry on its commitment to pursuing a vision of being a globally livable city and a center of excellence in public governance.
