PNP personnel of Anti-Kidnapping Group Mindanao Field Unit (Lead Unit) together with 55th Special Action Company- SAF, 904th Company of RMFB9, Regional Intelligence Division 9, 44th Infantry Battalion of Phil Army, Ipil Municipal Police Station, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, CIDG9 and Regional Drugs Enforcement Unit 9 conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Upper Pangi, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at 2:35 AM of December 17, 2020.
The operation resulted to the neutralization of Ibrahim Anduhol aka Tongtong for the case of Murder under Criminal Case No. I-5371 issued by Judge Anthony D. Isaw, RTC9, Br 24, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. However, target person upon sensing the presence of the PNP personnel immediately drew his Caliber .45 pistol and fired upon the arresting officer. Arresting troops fired back that resulted to the death of the target person.
Recovered from the scene were Two (2) Caliber .45 pistol with inserted magazine, two (2) Caliber .45 fired Cartridges, One (1) M16 rifle (Baby Armalite) and undetermined quantity of alleged Shabu.
The suspect is an active member of Criminal Gang under Barahama Ali operating in Zamboanga Sibugay Province and Team Leader of SOU under ASG Sub-leader Rakib Abdurakman, listed as Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Zamboanga Sibugay, PRO9 CY2020. He is involved in the criminal activities such as Murder of SSgt. Juan Ablao, member of Phil Army, Robbery/Kidnapping of Miss Sarabia at Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay, Kidnapping of Alejandro Bation at Kabasalan, on 2018 and Murder of PAT Arthur A. Decena, SDET Operative Last December 6, 2020 at Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
PNP personnel from SOCO are now processing the crime scene for proper disposition.
