City Health Complex to rise in Bacolod

Bacolod City – A P219 million City Health Complex will soon rise in Barangay 20, Bacolod City.

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez and Representative Greg Gasataya led the groundbreaking rites, which was also attended by Councilors Em Ang, Kalaw Puentevella, Jason Villarosa and Celia Flor, representatives from the Department of Health (DOH) Western Visayas, City Health Office staff, and businessman Charles Dumancas and his wife Ginnette Yanson – Dumancas, among others.

The 4,683 square meter City Health complex will have two 4-storey buildings, with Building 1 to have a floor area of 1,600 square meters, while Building 2 will cover 3,073 square meters.

In his speech, Benitez highlighted the significance of the new health complex, which supports his vision of improving health care services in Bacolod City, a press statement from the City Public Information Office said.
