As a post Dia de Zamboanga activity, the City Government through the City Tourism Office organized the 2023 Bird Watching Tour February 27 to 28 with participants coming from different parts of the country.
Held in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-CENRO, OCENR, ZSCMST, WMSU College of Science and Mathematics, PNP9 and ZCPO, the bird watching event covers Sta Cruz Island, Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology, and Pasonanca Park.
The event is another revived tour product of the city customized for local and international birders in the identified sites.
