The City Government of Surigao proudly welcomes 64 students on their first day of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES). This initiative, by the Department of Labor and Employment, aims to provide youth employment opportunities and support financially disadvantaged students.
These students will be working in various offices and departments within the City Government for the next 20 working days.
Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II emphasizes the city’s commitment to helping out-of-school youth and financially disadvantaged students. This program not only offers financial assistance but also prepares students for future schooling. (Mark James Lisondra)
