The Sangguniang Panlungsod in their virtual regular session this afternoon which was covered by RPN DXKS, approved the amendment of section 15 of Ordinance No. 407 granting an extension of 6 months the use of plastic bag only effective January to June 2021.
Councilor Cacel Azarcon registered his objection to the amendment introduced by Kag. Sebastian Ric Nagas. Kagawad Danilo Menor manifested his abstention or he declined to vote for or against the motion.
During the voting period, 6 councilors favored the motion filed by Nagas, 3 voted NO and 1 ABSTAINED.

- April – no use of plastic bags every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- May – no use of plastic bags every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- June – no use of plastic bags every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
