Davao del Norte: Personnel of Sto Tomas MPS led by PMAJ FREDERICK E DELES, COP conducted simultaneous checkpoint particularly at Public Market, Brgy. Tibal-og, Sto Tomas, Davao del Norte at around 3:45 PM.
The suspect, Robert Tumamao Ensalada, 19 years old, jobless and a resident of Purok 3B, Feeder Road 1, Brgy. Tibal-og, Sto Tomas, Davao del Norte was flagged down during the checkpoint for not wearing a helmet and incomplete accessories of his color black Honda Wave single motorcycle.
The team incidentally recovered from the possession and control of the suspect Five (5) packs of believed to be dried Marijuana leaves which resulted in the arrest of the said suspect.
Confiscated during the conduct of checkpoint were:
1. Five (5) packs of believed to be dried Marijuana leaves with fruiting tops that were wrapped with a paper; and
2. One (1) unit Samsung brand cellular phone. Arrested suspect and confiscated pieces of evidence are now under the custody of Sto Tomas Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
