Surigao City celebrated its second annual Pride March on June 11, 2024. This joyous event was brought to life by the Rainbow Connection The Originals in partnership with the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte, the City Government of Surigao, and the 2nd Congressional District Office of Surigao del Norte.
Participants from all walks of life gathered to celebrate Pride Month, dedicated to honoring and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community. This month-long celebration every June is a powerful reminder of the community’s resilience, achievements, and the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance.
The march was a lively celebration of love, acceptance, and equality, showcasing Surigao City’s spirit of unity and progress.
