Pormal nang giablihan ang Inter-Agency Basketball Tournament 2025 sa Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr., Cebu City niadtong Septiyembre 16, 2025.
Nagtigom ang mga magdudula gikan sa Philippine National Police (PNP) – Police Regional Office 7, uban pang Provincial ug City Police Offices, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Philippine Army, ug Philippine Air Force.
Sa iyang pamulong, giklaro ni Police Brigadier General Redrico A. Maranan, Regional Director sa PRO7, nga ang liga dili lang kay kompetisyon sa basketball, kundili usa ka paagi sa pagpalig-on sa pagkahiusa, pakigtambayayong, ug pagsinabtanay sa nagkadaiyang ahensya.
“As we officially open this league, I encourage everyone to play with passion, integrity, and respect. Let this event not only be a stress reliever and a source of enjoyment, but also a reminder that while we wear different uniforms and belong to different institutions, we are united by one goal — the safety, peace, and well-being of the people of Central Visayas,” segon ni PBGen Maranan.
Nagsugod ang seremonya pinaagi sa parada sa mga teams, ceremonial toss, ug usa ka friendly match nga nagpabukal sa kadasig sa tanan. Gilauman nga molungtad ang torneo sa mosunod nga mga semana, diin kada duwa mahimong paagi sa kalingawan ug pagpahinumdom sa ilang komong misyon nga pagpanalipod sa katawhan.
