Nagmalampuson ang gihimo na pagpirmahay tali sa Probinsya sa Sugbo ug sa Jeju Province sa South Korea, kagahapong adlawa, Hunyo 14, 2024, sa Sugbo.
Si Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia ug South Korea’s Jeju Province Gov. Oh Young-Hun ni pirma sa memorandum of understanding para magtinabangay sa turismo ug destinasyon sa ilang duha ka nasud.
Lakip ang panaghiusa para sa kalambuan sa ekonomiya, negosyo, agrikultura ug pamuhi.
“We will begin our cooperation starting with tourism, including the establishment of direct flights; but in the long term, we need to expand the cooperation through exchange of our younger generations,” segon ni Gov. Oh Young-Hun.
“We believe the future of our regions belong to the future generations,” dugang ni Gov. Young-Hun.
Ang probinsya sa Jeju naila didto sa South Korea na adunay mga nindot na tourist destination tungod sa kanindot sa kinaiyahan na haum sa buot mag honeymoon.
“More than being island provinces, more than being prime tourist destinations for each of our countries, more than the beauty of each of our islands and our love for lechon and Samgyeopsal, what we really share in common is the true grit, character, and spirit of each of our constituencies,” pamahayag ni Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia.
Ang maong seremonya sa panagsabot-sabot gitambungan ug gisaksihan sa mga Bokal sa probinsya sa Sugbo, mga Mayor, kumunidad sa mga negosyanti sa Sugbo, isip pagpakita sa ilang suporta sa maong MOU.
