Segon sa Police Regional Office 7 nga usa ka high-value individual ang nadakpan ug nasakmitan og illegal nga drogas nga nagkantidad og PHP13.7 milyon didto sa Barangay Dao, Dauis, Bohol.
Kadlawon sa Enero 10, 2025, gipahigayon ang usa ka joint operation sa Provincial Intelligence Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, ug Dauis Municipal Police Station gikan sa Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) sa Purok 4, Barangay Tinago, Dauis, sa pagtinabangay sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Ang suspetsado mao si Jessie “Balkan” Baginang, 26, taga Purok 4, Barangay La Paz, Lungsod sa Cortes, Bohol.
Sa operasyon, nakompiska sa mga operatiba ang 2,020 ka gramos sa methamphetamine hydrochloride, o mas nsila nga shabu, nga may kantidad nga PHP13,736,000. Apan, dili lang ang drogas ang nakuha; narekober usab ang duha ka improvised containers, usa ka cellphone, usa ka motorsiklo nga gigamit sa suspetsado sa iyang pagbiyahe, ug usa ka backpack.
Ang mga nakumpiskang ilegal nga drogas anaa karon sa Provincial Forensic Unit sa BPPO laboratory examination. Ang nadakpan nga suspetsado anaa sa custodial facility sa Dauis MPS, BPPO, ug mag atubang og mga kaso ubos sa Republic Act 9165, o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
