Nangjinaot si Acting Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia nga ang mga sakop sa Philippine Sugar Technologists Association (Philsutech) mogamit sa bag-ong teknolohiya aron pagsiguro sa mahayag nga ugma sa industriya sa asukar sa nasud.
Gipadayag kini niya atol sa iyang pagpamulong sa ika-70 nga nasudnong panagtigom sa mga sakop sa Philsutech dinhi sa dakbayan sa Sugbo kagahapong adlawa, Agusto 14, 2024.
Ang Philsutech naghubit sa iyang kaugalingon nga maoy nag-unang panagtapok alang sa pagbinayloay og impormasyon kabahin sa labing bag-o kalamboan sa siyensiya, teknolohiya, ug ekonomikanhong kaalam sa produksyon sa asukar.
“The sugar industry has been a cornerstone of the Philippine economy for centuries. It provides livelihood for millions of Filipinos and plays a vital role in our nation’s development,” pulong ni Acting Mayor Garcia.
“I earnestly hope that this convention of yours will be help serve as a nexus of ideas, knowledge, and collaboration. May it serve as a platform to explore and harness the power of technological advancements to ensure the continued growth and competitiveness. In this way, we can ensure a brighter future for the Philippine sugarcane industry,” dugang niya.
