Gipangulohan ni Governor Pamela Baricuatro ang send-off ceremony alang sa mga sakop sa Provincial Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, firefighters, medical responders, ug force multipliers nga gipahigayon sa Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) sa Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City niadtong Martes, Oktubre 28, 2025.
Ang kalihokan nagtimaan sa ka-andam sa probinsya sa pagsugat sa Kalag-Kalag, diin gilauman ang daghang tawo nga mobalik sa ilang mga lungsod aron motahod sa ilang mga minahal nga namatay.
Gidayeg ni Gov. Baricuatro ang mga personnel sa ilang dedikasyon ug sakripisyo, ilabi na nga daghan kanila dili makabisita sa ilang kaugalingong pamilya tungod sa tahas sa serbisyo.
“I know the coming days will be long and tiring. You’ll be under the sun, in the crowd, and on the road — but your presence will bring comfort to countless families visiting their loved ones. Because when people see you, they feel safe. When they hear your voice, they listen. When they need help, you are there,” matod sa Gobernador.
Si CPPO Director Police Colonel Abubakar Mangelen Jr. misiguro usab nga fully deployed ang mga kapulisan sa tibuok probinsya uban sa dugang checkpoints, police visibility, ug rapid response teams aron masiguro ang malinawon nga pagsaulog sa Kalag-Kalag sa tibuok Sugbo.
Gipangayo usab sa gobernadora ang kooperasyon sa publiko, nga magplano sa ilang mga bisita ug mosunod sa mga lagda aron malikayan ang kasamok ug kagubot sa sementeryo ug pampublikong lugar.
“To our fellow Cebuanos — I kindly ask that we all do our part. Plan your visits early, follow safety reminders, and be patient on the road. Let’s make Undas a time of reflection, family, and prayer,” segon ni Governor Baricuatro.
