Cebu City – Gibutyag sa Department of Labor and Employment Central Visayas (DOLE-7) nga ilang i validate ug imbestigahan ang complaint batok ni Cebu City South District Congressman Rodrigo Bebot Abellanosa labot sa pasangil sa profiling sa TUPAD beneficiaries.
Nakadawat ang DOLE-7 sa complaint gikan ni Atty Ernesto Rama kinsa mipasangil nga si Abellanosa mi distribute ug flyers ngadto sa mga TUPAD beneficiaries ug giingong mipa fill out sa forms;
Matod pa ang kampo ni Abellanosa mihatag ug instruction ngadto kanila pag adto sa usa ka lugar sa partikular nga oras alang sa ₱ 500 cash out.
Dunay mga hulagway gikan sa complainants labot sa usa ka mga giingong disbursements.
Giklaro sa DOLE-7 nga bugtong ang ilang ahensya lang ang maka disburse ug pondo alang sa TUPAD.
Gipaabot nga moluwat si Abellanosa sa iyang official nga pamahayag.
Matod ni Rama nga gi gamit ni Abellanosa ang TUPAD program alang sa political gains.
“We hereby bring to your attention the activities at Mambaling, ACT, and Guadalupe where individuals were made to fill up Beneficiary Profile forms under the guise that it is TUPAD project. But then, the individuals are told to return on a specific date, like May 3, 2022, to receive money purpotedly as down payment of their TUPAD salary,” mensahi ni Rama sa iyang suwat.
Gipangayo ni Rama ang ‘guidance’ ang DOLE tungod kay nagtoo ang abogado nga ang distribution sa down payment mamahimong ‘act of vote-buying’.
Isip tubag sa inquiry ni Rama, gipahibaw sa DOLE-7 Concurrent Head, Undersecretary Victory del Rosario nga ilang i-validate ug imbestigahan ang insidente.
“Please be informed that the TUPAD program is done through direct administration of this Office. Under this mode, the implementation of said program is done directly by our Tricity office,” pahibaw ni Del Rosario. (Jhon Tadlip)
