Atubangan sa duot sa katawhan sa Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC), gipamulong ni Acting Mayor Garcia kagabii, Agusto 25, 2024, nga ang Pasigarbo sa Sugbo kamatuoran sa kahiusahan sa Sugbo.
Gani, ang dakbayan sa Sugbo nisalmot man isip guest contingent sa Pasigarbo, nga gisalmotan sa mga lungsod ug mga siyudad ilawom sa Probinsiya sa Sugbo.
Gidasonan usab kini ni Gobernador Gwen Garcia, nga namulong nga taga-dakbayan sa Sugbo man o taga-probinsiya sa Sugbo pareho ra nga Sugboanon.
“Sugboanon sa probinsya, Sugbuanon sa Siyudad, Sugboanon kitang tanan,” sulti sa gobernadora, nga nihubit sa probinsiya isip “great, united, indivisible, one Cebu island” (bantogan, nagkahiusa, dili mabuak nga usa ka isla sa Sugbo).
“A Cebu united adunay kusug. In unity we are strong—very strong. And with that strength, we can achieve everything that we set our hearts and minds to do for the betterment of our people,” pulong ni Acting Mayor Garcia.
“The Pasigarbo sa Sugbo itself is a testament to this unity,” dugang niya.
Gisaysay sab niya nga ang Cebu City maoy host sa Pasigarbo niadtong 2019 ug 2022. Sa Carcar City kini gipahigayon niadtong 2023.
“Now, in 2024, it is back to where it belongs – the city of Cebu. And so, it is my distinct honor to welcome all of you to Cebu City for the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2024. We are truly privileged to once again be your hosts,” sulti ni Acting Mayor Garcia.
Gidasonan sab niya kini og pagbalik og sulti nga sama sa Pasigarbo, ang Sinulog 2025 mahibalik sab sa CCSC.
“So, once again, on behalf of the city of Cebu, I welcome you to the biggest, grandest, liveliest, festival of festivals – the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2024. And I hope to see all of you again for Sinulog 2025 right here at the Cebu City Sports Center!” dugang ni Acting Mayor Garcia.
