Councilor George S. Goking will be convening the committee on ways and means to discuss the guidelines issued by the Department of the Interior and Local Government for the implementation of the Ease of Doing Business Act regarding the renewal of business permits.
The guidelines requires local sanggunians to enact an ordinance allowing the renewal of business permits on the anniversary dates instead of January 20 of every year only.
This was discussed during the Orientation Workshop on Streamlining Building Permit and Certificate of Occupancy for LGUs, Integration of Barangay Clearance, Reengineering of System and Procedure and Repeal of Policies, which was attended by Councilor Goking.
