Police operatives of Buug Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PLT. Harley June Mejorada together with Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, and 908th Company of RMFB9 conducted joint law enforcement operation against wanted person at Purok 1, Brgy. Bawang, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay Province at 1:30 PM of December 10, 2020. This resulted to the arrest of Jonel Lantaca Encarnacion, 31 years old, male, married, CAFGU and a resident of aforementioned place.
He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the Crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. IM-20-1992, issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Assisting Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 31, Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay dated February 27, 2020 with bail bond of ₱ 200,000.00 for his temporary liberty.
He is now under the temporary custody of Buug MPS for commitment to court.
