A cadaver was found by the Barangay officials along the shoreline of Brgy. Bobongan, Labason, Zamboanga del Norte at 9:00 AM of September 18, 2020. The cadaver was later identified as PSSG. Hermis Alvarez Galisa, 37 years old, male, married, PNP member assigned at Gutalac Municipal Police Station, Zamboanga del Norte PPO and a resident of the said place.
Victim sustained lone gunshot wound on his head that caused his death and believed to be perpetrated by unidentified suspect/s.
The cadaver was then turned over to his immediate family for proper disposition while PNP personnel of Labason Municipal Police Station are still conducting thorough investigation to possibly identify and arrest the suspect/s.
